His goal is to bring the highest quality, creativity and professionalism to every project he participates in, and his career is all about a passion for music, hard work, and having fun! His music skills have allowed him to write with, produce for, or play live gigs with many artists including Malloy, Josie Aiello, Billy Mann, Jack Blades (Night Ranger / Damn Yankees), Jeff Loerber, Jaway (nominated Liberian Artist of the Year 2009 & 2010), & Collective In Groove. Joe also creates music for various sync projects. His credits include TV commercial credits (Pepsi, Nabisco), TV show syncs (ESPN, Murder She Wrote), and several background syncs for international movies.

From 1996 - 2003 Joe was a member of Dakota Moon, formed in Los Angeles,CA. The four members of Dakota Moon met during a recording session and after touring the LA club circuit, the band signed with Elektra Records in 1997 by Elektra's CEO Sylvia Rhone. The band was then hired to open for Hall and Oates and Tina Turner later that same year.

Their self titled debut CD was released on Elektra Records and produced two singles for the group in the US. "A Promise I Make", their debut single, was a #10 hit on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts, and "Another Day Goes By" reached #19 on the same chart later that year. Other tracks on their debut CD, "She Knows", and a cover of James Taylor's "Smiling Face" (both with the lead vocal sung by Joe) helped push the CD to a #7 chart position in Germany, and to a gold record in Norway. This spawned a number of radio and TV show performances, festivals shows, and opening tour slots (Eric Clapton, Celine Dion, Macy Gray, Fiona Apple, The Coors) worldwide.

Their follow up studio release, A Place to Land, produced a chart single in "Looking for a Place to Land" (co-written by Joe), which reached #30 on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts and #27 on the Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks charts.

"The Dakota Moon experience was a blast and a lot of fun...it went by too fast, but it also taught me a lot, and I grew immensely as a musician, songwriter, and producer, just by being a team player...watching my bandmates and our production team do their thing".

Post Dakota Moon, Joe has continued creating music, co-writing, producing and mixing numerous releases for engaging and entertaining artists. Joe also loves playing live and touring...he's always ready to go when the call comes in!

Joe is a true collaborative producer - his mission is to draw out the true essence of an artist by helping them translate their unique vision, musical voice and style into impactful commercial music...thereby creating authentic voices in the highly competitive music marketplace.
